All Clear

Well its been a little over a month... or two since my surgery and I am fine. All that wasted energy on worry and doubt and all I had to do was really let go and let God.

Though I should mention that I couldn't get through it without my family, friends, and support system at church... thanks guys!

The MAC is Back

I love MAC... the MAC is all better now, and Apple even fixed it for free, and it is way out of the warranty not even near it. Can you even believe that, those guys are great! You see with windows I can't even talk to a human on the phone, and unless you are a computer repair person many people have problems with crashing and freezing. I had MAC on for 3 years straight and it never shut off or froze or anything.

Now with MAC every tells me, I just don't know how to work it... I don't understand it. Well let me tell you I thought the same thing and I had some anxiety, but it was so easy to learn. It is built to be simpler you just have to remove the "I can't" roadblock.

really I am not trying to sell you a MAC just trying to share in my excitement of having my MAC back....

Luuuke... come to the MAC side

Hot Diggity Dogs

I am a hot dog fan. I love them with tons of stuff on them or hardly anything at all. My favorite that I make at home is... chili, cheese, onion, green chilis, mustard, sourkraut, dill relish. Heartburn city I know.

Anyways my husband while we were dating introduced me to Taylors and they are so good that is no doubt, but I am a cheese person and I always said to my self "self... this would be perfect with cheese" Now this is just personal opinion and I don't want to cause a stir...

When Hot Diggity first opened up where the old Jolly Cone was on Noble and Lovers Lane I went there and wow Taylors with cheese.... I knew it, boy were they good and I went there alot, well one day it had a new name and they were gone, the new place is okay I am not a huge fan but I will stop by, not for the hotdogs though, to greasy and they just don't taste right.

I thought I would never get a Diggity again until I was driving to Tulare the back way and stopped at the gas station past the overpass (locals know) and there it was tucked into a gas station. I pulled in and got me a Diggity and it wasn't as fabulous as I remembered but it was yummy and a little on the greasy side but that's okay CAUSE ITS A CHILI DOG...

Getting Ready for Christmas

Okay so I really really love christmas. Growing up christmas decorations went up the day after Thanksgiving and stayed up till New Years Day... cause we're crazy like that! My husband is the son of Grinch (but secretly I think he likes it) With the economy the way it is we are cutting way back, and you know it isn't so bad, it is more about the kids and our parents.

I started a christmas organizer, oooh that is fun, perfect for my control freak nature, they also have a plan out for easter to. It is called the Christmas Organizer, I had everything done before december... except for 1-2 little gifts. Decorating, meal planning... yep this year I am tossing my feet up and watching the show. Out of goodness of my heart I am sharing the website for this. http://organizedchristmas.com/

I also suggest the Household organizer it is super fabulous and it is nice if you want to start organizing things. Now I noticed that some of the people on this site are a little "maniac" with their folders and hey that's cool, but I am more of a empty out an old binder from school and use it, kind of girl.

anyhoo it works, do it.

End the madness now.

Rio Churrasco Brazilian Restaurant

So Brazilian food hmmm. I am intrigued and therefore I went....this is my sacrifice to you, not for me and my obsession with food.

Here in Visalia there are sooo many places to eat that it is just plain difficult to choose, so we get into our fav's and stay there, but I say lets try something different and Rio Churrasco that sounds different.

So the paper says there are "waiters, called gauchos, wearing red sashes" bringing skewers of meat, and I am down with that; bring it on I say. I went during lunch and it was a little slow, with my friend and they gave me a block that's red on one side that signals you are done; and green on the other that signals bring more food. How easy is that every place should do that. It's kind of a cave man approach to eating.

I was excited about the prospect of "skewers of meat" coming at me; my first round came after I went to the buffet area to fill up with beans, rice, veggies, etc. He put tiny little pieces of what ever he happened to have on the skewer. It was super good, but the caveman inside wanted to say "leave skewer.. go away" grunt grunt. Go green. save a trip, me want bigger portions.

Though it was small the flavor was huge, there was not one single item I didn't like there, that is when I grasped the concept behind the little pieces, there was a big variety of meats, and he just kept coming by bringing little pieces. I can't even really pin point which one was a favorite they are all just good, that is pretty rare these days to like a menu. I can't say I would go there often because I do have a problem with $15 per person for lunch. But it was mmm mmm good.

Keothip Restaurant

This is a goodie, I love Thai food;introduced to me by my aunt, who was married to a man who was Thai.

My favorite dish her is Larb, whether it is beef or chicken I don't care it is so good, it is a simple dish to make so if it is bad... that is sad. Now when you go into the Keothip it is smallish and a little dark not overdone. They sit you pretty fast, I am not into thai tea's and things so I can't tell you about that (I'm a pepsi girl). The service is not the fastest or the greatest but they don't abuse you or anything and they bring great food, so that's the compromise. Order ahead if you are in a hurry though or call in for to go if you are on a lunch break.

I order the larb always when I am alone, but about 10 of us went there for a birthday/dinner thing and it was so much fun. The food came family style, which is something that restaurants are really missing out on I think; it was super fun pass this, pass that, hey where did that come from gimme that. They have these things my daughter really likes called shrimp nest basically some kind of noodle wrapped around a shrimp and deep fried mmm mmm. I didn't really like there curry. Chicken Satay was also yummy it had a nice peanut-ty flavor that I really enjoyed. And of course the Larb (Laab) Chicken can I say yummy enough here... it is a bit of citrus, and spicy with some soft and crunchy textures in it. The crunchy is from the toasted, ground rice that is mixed in, all in all my sugesstion is go to this place they are fabulous... and yummy.

Lets Talk Pizza Buffet!

Before I get started Happy Birthday Kim... love ya sister!

I should start off with I loooooove pizza, like I really love pizza. Now I am not a fan of New York Style, I love the cheese, and misc confetti of random toppings slapped together to make a special treat that requires no dishes to wash, really how can you go wrong with that.... I ask you... how?

So Pizza Buffets, you can imagine is mmm mmm good in my eyes, cause you can have as much as you want, and for me that works great. I am a bit of a gluten. My favorite part about pizza buffet is you get salad, and there is no fighting over what pizza to get. So this is a two-fer because it is really important to know about the good, the okay, and the ugly.

The Good: Round Table Pizza

I have been to a couple of them in the valley just to make sure... And let me tell you their pizza is so good, they kick all the kinds of pizza, not just the cheap pizzas, this is where I finally discovered the Maui Zaui, it is a hawaiian style pizza but you can get a choice of sauce. The other sauce choice is a sweet chili sauce (I buy it at the Thai Grocery Store), oh man this is truly good.

It is a good time to try new pizzas and their salad bar is really good, the lettuce is really fresh, and there is so many toppings to choose from, I think I counted 15 or so toppings. I almost forgot about the cheesy breads and cinnamon stick... 2 words Sticky Goodness, by far the best I had ever had, they are that good if they stopped selling the pizza, and served only those I would be super fine with that.

Everything is real nice, the set up at the Mary's Vineyard is a little small but it seems that everyone is real patient about it, and well its worth it. They keep the place real clean no visible signs of grossness, and the customer service has always been really good, and that is pretty hard.

The Mom & Pop: There is a pizza place with a sports theme on Ben Maddox and Douglass kind there is a Git & Go there. I found that the pizza there was okay, Pepperoni seemed to be the theme of the day, which I am not saying thats bad, a good pepperoni is fine with me, but at a buffet I expect variety. I believe that is the whole point of it. The place was uncluttered and could use an updating but all in all clean from my side.

The pizza was good, and the salad bar, though the variety was few, I thought it was good. The place is huge though, and the price is real good cause it includes the drink.

The Ugly: Man I hate these, the ugly that are disguised, I went into Pizza Hut and expected good pizza, after all I use to eat at the one on Mooney Blvd, like all the time as a teenager. So I bop in, sit down, situate, and ready myself for the mission at hand. The restaurant was super clean and decorated really cute with a mural on the wall. I knew I was in for a treat.

I hate being wrong, what kid of trickery was this. I always come in at the beginning of buffet time when there is a lot of people and the pizzas are constantly being changed out, for freshness reasons. The pizzas looked alot like the frozen variety you buy at the store. I had hoped that it would be different. I wasn't bad like frozen, but certainly not good like restaurant, which was odd, again no variety there was a veg, a peperoni, and a meat. No specialties, like hey try this one you may want to order it for dinner this weekend. The salad bar was also nothing to get excited about. The breadsticks and cinnasticks.... sad, they were just cut up pieces of crust with seasoning sprinkled lightly on top of them, not pleasing to the eye or the taste buds. So disappointing, and also proves that corporate rules and guidelines don't make for good food for sure.

So there you have it a small sampling of pizza buffets, what's your favorite and why, which ones do you hate. Just keep it clean, this is a family channel... Comments will be moderated in the sense of, if it is not appropriate for a everyone then I just can't put it on...sorry

The Corner Cafe

There's nothing a-typical about the setup a row of counter space filled with random fella's looking more like the local dairymen, the booths are at the perimeter with mini booths squeezed up the center. Apple decor trimmed the windows, tables, and edgings, pretty much everywhere, though it changes with the season or holiday.

The decor is country, the food is country, the clientele... is a wide array of citizens. From cowboy hats and senior citizens to tattooed and pierced, and everything in between. It's a have a seat anywhere kind of place, so you do, and one of the waitress' follow you ours was Tenille who by the way is hilarious, as with all of them the owners are right there on spot chatting, laughing, and working right along with everyone else.

So I order the special cause I like special things... It was an scramble with jack cheese, and red onions with country potatoes, biscuits & gravy, and coffee, you know stay with the theme.

It was busy in fact it is always busy... so this is not really a shocker. It didn't seem like it was too long before the food arrived, mmmm it smelled like cheesy goodness, the eggs was perfectly cooked, no brownness or crustyness. The red onions were so bright and fred, not too much cheese but enough to leave a nice layer of white on top. When I scooped up the eggs there was a stringy and wow I was impressed, this is super good you can actually taste the cheese and the onions were sweetish which was nice contrast with the eggs and cheese.

Now I am funny about country potatoes because my grandmother was from Booneville Kentucky and made the best potatoes ever. I really hate when you order country potatoes and you get those little square things as if you ordered them from Burger King or something and they spray painted them tan. Now these were real potatoes with onions, and other little goodies mixed all over, WOW they were so good, I mean really good. perfectly seasoned not lacking salt. The potatoes were tender perfect not mushy. The biscuits were soft, flaky, very airy, and hot.... mmmmm

Anyhow this is my review of The Corner Cafe, my advice go there 2 thumbs up for sure. I will eat there a hundred times over.

The Corner Cafe is located at 1718 E Mineral King Ave, Visalia, CA.

Wednesday discussion: homemade gifts for men

Ahhhh the holidays are coming... red alert, red alert...

Well I have decided to make gifts this year, which can be scary. I mean you don't really want to go through all the trouble to make something just to get that look on the face of "oh, wow thanks" we want "OH WOW! THANKS" and "how cool" etc. You know what I mean, yes it is a nice stroke to the ego, but you don't want to give someone something that they can't use or don't like; make them feel like they have to love it, or set it somewhere in there house.

So lets vow today to help each other out. So I thought we would start out with something tough get it out of the way. Men, they work hard, they love us, and we love them, we just want them to be happy so whatever it is must have some guidelines much the same when buying...

1. Useful; most men are not knick-knack kind of guys, make sure it is something that they could use
2. Tailored to that particular man
ie: I know I won't give my dad a tool caddy because he thinks an "allen wrench" is a tool that belongs to someone named allen.
3. Themed; race, sports, TV shows, or movie fans; use this to your advantage

I am thinking of of a gift givee' who tinkers in the garage, so I am thinking a bucket tool organizer so I will be looking for a pattern for that.

For the car enthusiast I am thinking of wheel covers they sell them in the store but if you make it with canvas and cover that canvas in a team fabric...

these patterns are all over the Internet and for free so look around

anyhoo let me know what you think and also post your own thoughts

Hospital Food Short and sweet

Well this edition comes to you after a stint in the hospital, I think generally the local hospital gets a bad rep for food because your sick, by the time it gets to you it has been in a little red plastic dome for at least an hour, and eating in bed may sound good but really it is a pain in the butt.

But I have eaten in the cafeteria, and a few years ago they changed it around and it's not bad, they try and make it look like a bistro and they will have special Taco Salad bars, but the food is fresh and if you want something special the staff is kind of good about helping you out. I like the salad bar the best and they have pretty good clam chowder too.

Sooo long

Well I want to thank everyone for being patient. Since I last blogged the plumbing went in the house and we had to move... can I just say it awwww! Oh yeah and the old house took the computer and it died.... my poor mac, I miss it, he is in the hospital right now but I had this HP computer still but I hate it and I want to do bad things to it.

Imagine living in a world where you can work on a computer without error messages, "freezing", or crashing. Well I was in that world my mac was on for three years straight without a problem. As soon as I look at a windows computer it freaks out and shuts down..... I only wish teenagers feared me that way.

Well I am back the new place is super fantastic, its funny what I put up with because I loved the front porch and location of a house. The new place may not have a front porch but I set up my small outdoor set there and it is great.

Thanks again everyone, and I will be posting a less boring post today including some ideas I have, hopefully you can give me some feedback on.

oh yeah... follow this link to this super funny youtube video, I laughed so hard I cried.

Help! I am stuck in the car with my parents -Or- Prozak is my friend

Yesterday was insane, yeah I had a busier than normal agenda but hey that happens.  So after I had finished teaching art yesterday, I had to run to a new clients to confirm the date of completion for their remodel.  My teaching partner was sick so I took my mother to help me with setup/tear down... do you see where this is going.  Now since my dad was the initial sales contact for this client I had to pick him up too, mom decided to go to... Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

So here I am innocently cruising along, (we had to go to the next city) to make it shorter we got there, handled it, and came back.  My mom began the debate of where dad was taking us to lunch, where are we going, etc.  Which sparked a wave of jokes and funny innuendoes from dad, this is just how dad is you can say "scotch tape" and he always has something, not a problem with me, but for mom... not so much.

They began to "bicker"  well not so much that, more like kids going back and forth.  Me I am just fighting the urge to not turn around and say "don't make me turn this thing around"  though how fun would that be.  So I keep driving back home... and the van did a little stumble hmmm, I looked at my mileage chart (the fuel gauge stopped working) and determined in can't be that because I still have about 20 miles or so before I have to panic, we had only 3 miles to a gas station.

Driving, driving, dada dada,  it did it again then she began to sloooow down... oh man.  Now I should stop and say that my math skills are a little hairy... okay maybe a giant gorilla.  Math is just not my thing, God gave me calculators and a smart husband so really why should I be rude and not thankfully use these gifts... thank you very much.  Except I forgot to have my husband check my mileage chart, shoot!

So I eased over and and looked took a couple of deep breaths thinking about what was about to come of this.  I looked over to my parents and said I ran out of gas... now at this point you would have thought that WWIII had just broke out, I wish I was kidding.  I said it's okay I will just walk down to the gas station and take care of it.  "Oh no you can't do that" "stay here" blah blah blah!  I was a Marine, we used to run that for lunch.

But to make this shorter after 40 minutes of trying to find someone dad realized his insurance would cover this, so we got a tow (yeah dad)... took us to the gas station, got gas, and started it to ensure we were okay, I went inside to wipe off my hands, the doors were left open, the emergency lights still on, and my weak battery all spelled a dead battery for my van... awwww we got a jump I dropped everyone off, and ran home and went to bed.

oi! I am tired just typing this.

snoooze!

My dear sweet daughter was extra snuggly this morning, and turned on the tv to watch cartoons.... when I realized that Author was on I freaked because if he is on then we are late.  It turns out she turned off the alarm so that we wouldn't be disturbed... how nice.  So of course I went to warp drive, but we still missed the bus.  So now that means we have to sit and wait for school to start... yeah for me quiet time with the kid that didn't involve video games, a movie, or roller-skating, just me and her... chillin' !

So my first day of my quest for getting back into my ultra-organized state of life is starting off a little shaky... but I am not worried.  If I did it once I can do it again.... right

I did however make some great changes on Sunday, I finally completed my Family Org-Board and it is in its testing phase.  I think it will be great asset for me, you see I have my ICAL which I use for everything and print out daily for my schedule which saves me time... Anything in pencil I type that night...  This system works well for my work schedule and while I am out.

But I wanted kind of a station that was the focal point for everyone.  So far I post things on the Org-Board that usually apply to the family as a whole or doctor appts, etc...  we will see how that goes.  I will probably add chore lists for everyone next....

If only I could organize personally like I organize my events, I wonder if other planners and event coordinators find that true in their own lives as well.  I hope I am not the only one.... that would stink!

In the words of my hero...

How Wood Paneling and Spandex are alike! A meme for you

Okay so this is the third time I am starting this thing because of the stupid internet which I have a love/hate relationship with... right now it's not so much about the love.

So I am "decorating challenged", well I should be more positive about it... I am "plain house capable".  I have always wanted to walk in and go oooh.  Right now it is more like have to clean this, gotta clean that, why is there wood paneling everywhere.

... and while I am, on the subject, here's my take on Wood Paneling... awwwwwwww! (disclaimer, I think if the hall, family room, and front room didn't have so much of it, and if I wasn't so challenged with decorating I would probably not be so frustrated with it... but I am so any help would be grrrreat!)

I am trying out meme's:

1. How Wood Paneling and Spandex are alike:______________
- no matter how hard you fight it... there is always someone trying to bring it back

Here are the basics, same as any other but for newbies like me I thought I should post it:

1. Answer the question
2. Leave the link to your answer as a comment
3. Link your answer to my blog
4. Tag others to participate

Thanks for playing

What the! end of the day quickie

Okay so I was making a flyer for a business, that involved a pet on a toilet... will explain another time.  In the process of looking for one I came across a crazy invention.... the dog toilet

1/3 and a half life crisis!?

You know when that commercial comes on about the "Adults with ADHD" and they go thru all the symptoms, you know difficulty remembering, concentrating, social, emotional... have you ever felt, oh my gosh thats me. OH NO I have ADHD I need a pill, that will solve all my problems.

Well now I am starting to think maybe its 1/3 and a half :-} life crisis (my life-span is a bit long, after all mid life seems so final)... you know, Am I a good Wife and Mom? Am I doing what I really want? Is my life making a difference in the community or world? Is my Family okay?  Can I be a better this or that...

With all of this in your head how can one expect to concentrate or even think about remembering something without a giant calendar in front of them.

So I declare, on August 15th that from this day forward I will begin my day by quieting my body and focus my thoughts... again

oh yeah I found a cool Friday Fill-in... it comes from a fun blog...Friday Fill In's

1.  The last meal I had at a restaurant was a breakfast special at the Corner Cafe mmmm.

2.  Pity Parties is something I intensely dislike.

3.  The full moon is not so great when it is in a car window driving by you.

4.  Seriously! Seriously... is one of my favorite expressions.  (Thanks Racheal)

5.  Sometimes it's best to just walk away and let it be.

6.  Kung Fu Panda is the best movie I've seen so far this year!

7.  And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleeping, tomorrow my plans include working, and Sunday, I want to actually make it to church!

Life Report

So I was looking up some information about the Janet Rivera subject... for those who don't know she was a lady in Fresno County who was in a coma she had a heartache 2 years prior. Basically was assigned a liaison who removed her feeding tube, she didn't die as they thought she would.  She is back on the tube but there is still controversy, and the family is still fighting for her.

So in my research I came across a podcast:  http://blog.prolifepodcast.net Prolife answers for a Prochoice world, and there I saw my friend Carrie.  Hi Carrie!

So of course I had to let everyone know about the podcast... it is uber-fabulous, the topics are strong yet it is entertaining.  Kind-of like chatting with your friends over important topics, anyhoo I know you will love it.

Seriously! Seriously... (to quote my sister)

Okay so I am at the doctors office for the results of yet another pap gone bad, but I wasn't worried because last year this had happened and it was mild dysplasia.  No big deal I thought, they will just freeze it and when I come back 3 months later it will be cleared up, not a huge biggy just inconvenient.  Except my doctor sighed a little... hmmm

So Doc went on to say that I have severe dysplasia and that basically with the picture he drew me (Doc is great because I only had to tell him once that big words don't work with Marines... we need pictures)  the abnormal cells had spread to the entire thickness and that it is precancerous... I didn't have it but it is the stage before, he suggested a couple of procedures, I decided on the hysterectomy no sense in taking chances since just 6 months prior I was flagged okay from the last time we did this, and since cancer runs in my family.

He agreed that this was the best since it seemed that this was somewhat fast and that my cervix was not working well....blah blah blah, again with the pictures this is where I fade a little.  He did say that "this is something that is not like that" when I referred to the family history, what the heck does that mean.

Now even though I am smiling and have this no big deal tude, and yeah I don't have to have a period (okay I am a little excited about that)  the truth is  I am a little freaked out, about surgery, this whole dysplasia thing.  You see I have to know the why's, not all the time after all I am a firm believer of the TMI theory, which I will explain later.

So I hit up the internet and found the Women's Health Channel, Web MD (which by the way when you type in cervical dysplasia... gives you a whole page of cervical cancer info!) , and a few Medi Journal sites.  I went on to read that severe dysplasia is also called carcinom-in-situ or CIN III which literally means "cancer in place" WHAT!  It must be treated because it will most often develop into invasive cancer!!!

So I am a little freaked out but comforted in the fact that it doesn't mean you have cancer. YEAH.  I was still thinking about Doc's little cryptic statement... I was hoping this was something like genetics, you know, how great would it be to say oh it runs in the family... and blame it on someone else.

Yeah, not so much... Risk factors for this include smoking, early sexual activity, multiple partners, std's ( fyi, I have never had one) including HPV and HIV.  WHAT!  Smoking and sex causes this condition and you could lose your ability to have children or get cancer!  I don't remember that one in the sex ed.  Sounds like something your mother would say too get you to stay home on a friday night.

As it turns out researchers found chemicals produced by cigarette smoking in both men and women causes the change in the cervical cells that lead to dysplasia.  Sex too early and multiple partners also leads to those changes.... hmmm.  Poor Nutrition also decreases the body's ability to fight it and other, goodbye Taco Bell, it was great your beef combo burrito with no beans and xlg Pepsi will be in my heart, memories, and cervix forever.  Thanks!

I began smoking and drinking when I was 12 my parents didn't find out till I was 16, I was 13 when I first began having sex, I think they still may not know (well until now)  Was it worth it... NO.  It still happens today with our children.

So what's the big lesson here, what we did last summer and 20 summers before that will come back to haunt us, in some odd way or another, get checked even if you need to take a valium before hand.  And don't forget to annoy your kids with yet another reason to stay straight and narrow.

Early Mornings

So here it is 5 a.m and I have just made 3 dozen muffins for my nephews' school project... that is due this morning at his classroom.  Now you may be thinking "wow she's a softie", but let me tell you that is not the case at all, I am an insane softie.  But they are in the middle of moving and well he has mastered "Doe Eyes" and they are good kids, so really, what are you gonna do.

I have been making myself a little crazy with the things on "my list", and find myself plaqued with juggling what I have to do with what I want to do.  I have to work on the route (I own a janitorial business) so that we still have income coming in and so forth.  Though
I absolutely adore my clients I know that is not what I am supposed to be doing.

I am working on these art events, to promote the arts in our growing little city, and I want so badly for my new "local art magazine" to get started sooner than later, and to work on my art all day!  But it is so difficult to get that scheduled, so many good things are falling through the cracks.

With the newly implemented program (art expressions group at shelters) at the center it makes things wildly insane but exciting. I also struggle because I am trying not to let these affect the family, it is not fair for them to fall to the wayside.  If I could would

These things I would love to do, but duty calls and if it is meant to be then somehow...

Are Wii Fit...

Well , today marks the day of random chitter chatter.  I decided to do this because of my current excitement about this Wii thing... though it is not the theme of my blog.

First I should tell you that I enjoy the Wii but I am not a "gamer" so when I get a moment (and boy are they far and few between) I will sit down for a few minutes and play.  Last week I got a Wii Fit game as a gift;  before I go on , something you should no about me is, I am quite the collector of exercise equipment, DVD's, and dust... on them.

So when I received this gift I was excited, to loose all these darn pounds that have piled up around me, I would call it pregnancy weight but she is 7 and so I guess that excuse sailed far away.  I would blame Pepsi, but really a perfect beverage like that just can't possibly be at fault.

Now this thing does a BMI, and tracks your weight, it even changes your Mii character to match the figures, I never laughed so hard, when the reality of my Mii widened out.

There are games that emulate the activities so for the aerobics I do hula hoops or running (there are few to choose from) and this darn thing actually knows when I slow down, or if my circles are not big enough.  You get points for all the different factors and other things to distract you from the fact that you are excercising.

So its been about 5 days, and I do the yoga exercises and then switch between aerobics and strength  so far I have lost 2.4 pounds!!!  I am amazed because seriously I have not changed my bad eating habits... mostly because I love food and DIETS SUCK! And I have even skipped a day of excercise.

This is working so far also because the board thingy (not a technical term) really measures everything you do and can tell if something is wrong, there is also this little bubble thing on the screen that tells if you are off balance.  And my favorite feature is that there is no skinny, hyper lady bouncing around yelling about how great you are doing when you have given up and are really just trying to find the stop button on the remote...

So if you ask me, I think this just might work!

Wii shall see.... (shameless pun, just for you)
